In Round 1 of the 2013 Tournament of Flash Artists each animation below had to follow the theme, "We have a visitor", and include something that begins with the letter X. Leave comments on as many as you can with your feedback. The best will move onto Round 2. Each animator had to work on a strict deadline, many pulling all-nighters to make it, and using every shortcut technique they know.
