This is a curated list of free SVG icons for different Web languages, environments, standards and platforms. I have altered these to be perfect squares with no extra padding and have made monochrome versions with the colour set to currentColor so CSS can fill the colour.

    The 3 glyph was created with the HTML logo. The placement of the glyph into the HTML sheild was done by daphyre from Deviant Art (inactivated account). It is not an official logo, but is widely used. The glyph is more official.

  • HTML5 (2011 version)

    Ocupop is the design firm that created the HTML logo with the W3C. Michael Nieling is the Creative Director at Ocupop. W3C HTML5 Logo.

  • JavaScript (2011 version)

    This logo was presented at JSConf EU 2011 after claiming to be in use for over a year and a half unofficially. It was provided by Christopher Williams. JS Logo By The Community.

  • SVG (2009 version)

    This design by UK artist Harvey Rayner became adopted as the official SVG logo in 2009. W3C Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) Logos and Policies.

  • Semantic Web (2007 version)

  • Feed / RSS (2005 version)

    The feed icon was created by Stephen Horlander, a designer at Mozilla.

    Designed by Javi Aguilar.

  • World Wide Web (1990 version)

    The WWW icon was designed by Robert Cailliau using the Optima Bold font.
