In late 2004, The Cyanide & Happiness Webcomic series began. The comics are drawn by Matt Melvin, Rob DenBleyker, Dave McElfatrick, Kris Wilson and Lee Mulvey, each with their own, but similar stick-person drawing style. The comics amassed popularity online due to controversial themes and crude drawings - perfect for sharing on Internet forums.
In 2006, Cyanide & Happiness expanded into animated Flash shorts.
